1. In what area is critique to be sought?
-> Anything !

2. What one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
-> The magnificence of Singapore's City Nightview

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
-> Night

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
-> It seems like an awesome photo to me but I want other's opinions.

Here's my thoughts.
The lights of the background buildings are a little over exposed. However, I like the long exposure which makes the water really glassy.
Maybe a smaller aperture or neutral density filter?
And the horizon seems a little slanted. Not sure if it is just me or if it is really slanted though.

Gosh, you are right, i never noticed it before, it does seem slanted doesn't it? Thanks !

The Lotus looks like an uncomfortable pairing against the city skyline from this angle.

Not to mention that the floating platform is a distraction. Granted, it would be much worse if the floodlights were lit ;)
Overall I would say it's a pretty good attempt, though I still prefer the angle from either MBS waterfront or the Esplanade amphitheatre :)
