Silver stripe

A newbie question, my kit lens' silver stripe sticker came out, I just bought it last week do you think Canon will fix it?

They would since it is under warranty, but I didn't know its a sticker, I thought it was a silver chromed plastic ring at least. I wonder if the rubber band red line lenses are stickers too?

Also ask yourself are you willing to pay, the budget and so on. Better give them a call and ask for estimated time frame/cost in case you need to use the lens.

I believe is a QC problem, hope they would acknowledge and 'repair' it. Thanks for all your replies, will give them a call tmr.
