Not to mention what has been highlighted already: any sensible focus test has to be conducted under controlled and stable conditions. You noticed already the changing light conditions on stage.
Google search word: focus test chart. Do read the manual that comes with it.

How much sharpening did you apply in post? The noise in the girl's face looks too defined.

The noisier the photo, the lesser the amount you should apply. The sharpening is bringing out the definition of the noise grain. Tone back to around 40.
