hello i was searching around but seems that
most reviews only test out this lens on DSLRs.

wondering if anyone has pics shot on full frame?

i read one comment tat said "on film, confirm will vigenette"
true?

also, how much does one cost, 1st hand?
mailed ms colour but no reply.

thanks!

yo bros, long time no see!

Yup, it does vignette alittle on full frame cameras.. but what the heck? the wideness of true 12mm makes up for everything!

i think there's an option to remove that logo, check around, i don't really use the gallery space so i'm not too sure

yup im that guy. dunno wanna buy a 12-24 or a D70s ?:)

price go up ah:cry:

icarus, those pics without cap and hood ? filters?

from what i know.. with hood(built-in) and no filter. u can't put a filter in front.. only at the rear of the lens. a 2nd hand one would be much cheaper. 800-850 range. since u are using film, i would say get this lens and enjoy first. rather than have a new body and no good lens to play. u might want to check with song bros since they say
$1000+.

No,those pics are taken with lens cap on hahaa... just kidding lah!
The hood is built in... and the sigma 12-24 cannot take any filters without vignetting.

The pinkish vitamine pill on the right is called vigenetting is it? How come
vertical shots don't have that?

Thats lens flare... due to the 12-24's bulb like head, its quite prone to flaring... so watch where u point your lens :)

I think I could see that flares when I pointed my cam in the direction of the sun.
Sometimes many circular pills in a row. Are they the same flare?
