Really off-the-mark on this one, but have no idea where to get this done. Thought I'd dig the brains of fellow CS-ers :)

I'm going abroad to visit a friend and the last time I was at his house, noticed his seashell collection. Politeness insists that I repay the hospitality and thought I'd get one here, err somehow. Anyone know where I can buy an impressive conch or something seashell-y?

err.... in the sea shore?:bsmilie:

if you want to get cheap ones, go to Bugis Mrt Entrance, the side where the temp market is located. Sometimes you see this uncle selling seashells on a mat on the floor. Other places to try, the China Square Sunday Flea Market and Chinatown complex, there is a daily flea market there.

Check out a small stall outside the building opposite Chinatown Point (can't recall what's the building name) There are some big & nice seashells for sale.

Go to a hawker that sells bbq seafood..oder a plate of la la..after that u have many many shells to give..:bsmilie:

Ooh good, thanks thanks for the suggestions.
And you guys got me thinking of seafood dinner too, arghhh
