many thanks..
Billy

I love this shot! Great detail! At first look it reminded me of Ansel Adams' "Rose and Driftwood".
Thanks for sharing.

Lualua you were right about this scene. It didn't turn out well.
i got you on video taking this shot at the low angle. i actuallu quite like this shot. i found that touch of red really stand out in the sea of green with that light from the top right coming down. i am not sure about the birder in the background though. :)

Lol. Would have been better if used black and white. And there were a lot of birders that day and they walk into my scene a few times.. Next time I would bring a loud speaker to chase them a way:bsmilie:.

Patrick, I love the one with 2 tires.

Billy the back lighting of that macro shot works! Tempted to get a macro lens already?:bsmilie:

haha... I still can remember my bellows was stretched all the way until straighten , for this shot...
Yes, I am looking for a tele lens , about 360mm will be great.

i think for this case, a shorter focal lens like a 120mm macro may do a better job. With 420mm bellow draw(iirc), you can go beyond 1:1 already. Magnification was all you need rather than a long/tele lens (imaging the bellow draw to achieve 1:1;))

Hi Oracle, thanks for the kind words!
Hopefully you can join us on our next outing there, or perhaps visit the place and share your shots here too!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
