It was a slow week. So I decided to document some of the interesting places on my home island. I picked the Thian Hock Heng Temple. I find it interesting that this very old temple is just next to our financial district. So, one early morning, I decided to go to the temple before the office crowd descent on Shenton Way. I even saw a well dressed lady praying at the main hall before work. Maybe the markets will be better today.

I decided to document this on film. So I took a roll of Kodak Portra 160 and a roll of Kodak BW400CN with me. I loaded the color negative into my Contax G2 (bought along 4 lens - 28mm, 35mm, 45mm and 90mm) and the B&W into a Leica M7 with a 21mm lens. Spent about 2 hours at the temple. I do hope the series is something you might like.

The rest of the series are seen here:

I enjoyed going through your pics in your Zenfolio including this one at the Thian Hock Heng. Very strong composition in all the pics which makes the pics interesting. I particularly like the ones from the x-pan which stands out from the rest. Thank you for sharing with us. CP.
