Fabulous and fun photos. There must be a few clubsnappers in the same trip cos suddenly I see a few threads of the same places. Anyway all of them are great threads.
Just add-on enquiry re getting to Semporna, are these villages difficult to locate or get to on a self-travel basis?

The one and only school or rather classroom on the island for anyone of any age. Not sure whether this was built by Huang Junxiong (mediacorp artiste) recently on one of the charity show.

Thanks. 3 of us joined a packaged tour in Malaysia, while West shooter (12 pax) went on their own 1 week before us. I personally feel that it is better to join a tour/custom made a tour (which I usually do) to avoid the logistic and communication problems. I am not sure whether u can speak Malay and whether or not the boat man are easily available if you are on a self-travel basis. There are pirates in tat area and some islands are quite isolated and out of bound. The boat man may not bring u to those islands that u intend to go. U may want to check with West shooter on how they engage the boat man etc.

Through out the lesson, it seems like the older gal (the one in pink) was the one who has been answering all the questions and leading the class to sing National Anthem.

Regards to the queries, it organised by WS alrite. And yes, there's pirates looming around in certain area as well. Our conterpart, are not merely acting as a guide, he's quite a sought after Tawau Photographer himself. As for other logistic, it was all self arranged, and with some assistance from our conterpart there as well. The cost incurred for the Island Expedition are then split amongst the members evenly.
Anyway, if anyone is interested to join me on my next trip (Dec or early Jan), do feel free to drop me a note. Cheers.
