Edmund, you should wildlife-type pictures, should get one WITH the multiplier. Then if you get the 400 DO and use it on a 1D, it would effectively become a 520 DO, shiok.

Or if you have a 300, it will become 360, no need to buy the DO. Shiok also.

Tokina --> Close-up. I think so, can find out from CP. Most Hoya filters is manufactured by Tokina anyway.
