Sebastiao Salgado - Genesis (National Museum of Singapore, 26 April to 27 July)

As can be expected, the photos were gorgeous. However, I found that the experience could have been improved if more thought had been put into the lighting or glass used for the framing. Personally, I found that it was rather difficult to appreciate the beauty of the photos when I could also see reflections of other people, exit signs etc while viewing the photos. It was rather distracting. Also,I felt that the corridor was not the ideal place to display the pictures, and the viewing experience was a tad worse than in the "gallery" itself.
I understand the exhibition is free, but I guess I expected a bit more from Salgado. Nevertheless, it is still great to have the opportunity to see the works of this modern day master.
