Screen callibration

Anyone know where to buy a screen calibrator? Or any good free software??

(Or anyone would be kind enough to lend me a spyder for screen calibration)

Check the usual photographic shops, I got mine form Peninsular Plaza. Free software is available, but your eyes are far from being accurate, easily tired and your brain does the rest in giving you false impressions about colours.
Calibration is not a one-off job, it needs to be repeated due to aging of display and changes in computer system. A simple update of your graphics drivers could throw off any existing preset, resulting in different colour rendering.
