Dummy models of Saramonic's new Blink500 are now on display at BroadcastAsia. Available configurations include Stereo dual channel receiver module for DSLR as well smartphone receivers for iOS and Android. Essentially, the Blink500 system is a 2.4GHz digital audiio transmitter with built in mics and 3.5mm input ala Rode Wireless Go. The main advantage over the Rode is the ability of the Blink500 receiver to receive audio from 2 transmitters at the same time. Working distance is 30ft. There are no working sets for testing as yet. Runs on 5 hours internal batteries. Price starts from USD199 for a pair of one transmiiter and one receiver.
