Sandisk Extreme III CF Card (20mb per second)

But I really wonder..do we need that fast speed? I'm very happy with my Sandisk Ultra II on my D70.

Sandisk is discontueing the Ultra II and Extreme II series...so is that mean the "life time warranty" also dead? I heard life time warranty is only valid if the item still in production, but the company.

Btw, no point buying III card now as new camera need to design in order to take advantage of the card.

Is that why Extreme and Ultra II selling so cheap now? Clearning stock?

Actually, they are rolling out new Ultra IIs and not discontinuing them...
They are actually clearing out the existing Ultra II for the new ones.
