Hey, nice pic!, would they still let people in the cockpit after sept 11? It would be great to get some high altitude shots, did u just ask if you could go in the cockpit or did u know the pilot? can pm me if dont wanna post here, thnx

Hey, just looked at your other cockpit pics, really like them, also the plane pics are good too, some good shots!

the captain was slacking in 1st class while the co-pilot was doing pre-flight. i asked if i could hav a word with him and said tt i was very enthu abt planes.(i fly economy though) before leaving for the cockpit i asked if i could experience takeoff in the jumpsit. he agreed. thn i spent the next 6hrs or so till lunch having a crash-course in flight training.

it was a 13hr flight to LAX so over the north pole so i had 2 chances at shooting sun rise/set. SQ1147 boeing 777-300.

the 300/2.8 i took this with was returned:sweat: oso i wont hav much time to plane-spot.

there're way-points along the way

Ya, I know but rather drastic and fuel-inefficient to head in the opposite direction once in a while... :bsmilie:

Wish I could sit in the jumpseat....

there're certain [no-fly] zones in korea and russia, shd be some kind of military base.

lucky u! i've never sat in a cockpit b4 :)

neither have I. think should follow roti's example and request it next time I fly.

welcome to the club, roti_prata! you are an aviation photographer? ( or spotter, one of the term used if not mistaken ) if yes such a coincidence, my brother actually one of them.
