The Canon EOS 7D is to be released in the U.S. and Canada beginning in seven to nine days. Lisette Ranga, a camera marketing representative at Canon USA, indicates that units of the 17.92 million image pixel digital SLR will begin to ship from Canon distribution centres to retailers in the first part of next week. Meanwhile, Canon Canada has informed its network of dealers that the camera will depart from Canon's warehouses starting on Monday, September 28.
