A Double Celebration of Lunar New Year and SG50
2015 is a very special year as we celebrate Singapores 50 years of Independence and Lunar New Year together at River Hongbao 2015! Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, Singapore Press Holdings, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Singapore Tourism Board and Peoples Association are proud to jointly present River Hongbao 2015 which will be held once again at Singapores iconic The Float @ Marina Bay.
River Hongbao will welcome the Year of the Goat with celebrations over 12 days from 17 February to 28 February 2015. Admission to the event is free.
For 28 consecutive years, this annual iconic event has remained an integral part of Singapores Lunar New Year celebrations. This year, we will travel back in time to recollect the precious moments and traditions of our nations celebration of Lunar New Year over the past 50 years as part of SG50.
To top things up, we will also be commemorating 25 years of Singapore-China diplomatic ties with our first ever collaboration with the Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
