Hi need advice here. i tried mouting a 75-300mm canon lens to my EOS 500 and then mouted a 28-80mm to the tip of the 75-300mm with a masking tape but when i look through the view finder i see nothing?? After that i reverse the sequence, that means the 28-80 on the camera and reverse mouted the 75-300 on the 28-80 mm tip, it works but i can see a circular black on the edge, also, the focus seem far from perfect. it don't seem right... any idea where i go wrong?
I already have a Tamrom Macro 1:1 lens but what i'm trying to achieved the Tamrom cannot give, i'm trying to shoot macro of insect so close that the texture of the eyes can be seen on photo, i guess for that only reverse mout can provide the result. am i right?
or is there a better lens out there that can work? If so, can i know the model or brand?
Lastly, is it possible to mout a canon lens to my D70 with a canon mout for nikon ring? will it causes any malfunction to the D70 since D70 is a totally electronical digital camera.
Thanks.
