have been wondering... those ppl that collect cameras out there... collect them cos 20 to 30 year down the road, the cams will have resale value? maybe 2 or 3 times the original price???

just for hobby purely, if you buy a Nikon F3 at $1000 in 70's, unused, mint condition, how much can you sell now? of course some specially edition cameras may sell better value.
But if you put the same amount of money in any kind of investment, image how many folds you can make in 30 years?
