It's the guy who proposed being in the relationship.
I don't know what they did but from i heard from the girl,they hardly meet.

Hard to say then, without listening to the whole story from both side.

They were close friends for a short while before they started out, right? Could be they are just trying out to see whether it works or not. However, its hard to make a relationship work if they do not spend time doing stuff together or talking. In any relationship, you want shared experiences.

Guess the girl must be feeling real lousy about it. Take it as a lesson and move on. They are still young. We all have a fixed idea of what a relationship should be like. If it falls short of the ideal, then perhaps its time to reassess your ideal type of relationship or find someone who share the same ideals. Make more friends before deciding.
