Thanks for the valuable feedback. I took another shot a couple of seconds later. It has a better definition of the silhoutte of the person and a little detail in the buildings in the background.

Click to expand... As mentioned, by using zoom, you can get this effect and I believe with the moon as well although I have not tried it myself. I used a prime lens - Tamron 90mm with a 2X teleconverter. To get the ball without the sun blowing out the image, I used a ND filter.
