Hi fellas,

I just got my sigma 70-300 recently and was trying to take macro shots with it, however it isn't close enough, need advice on what should I get in order to bring the images closer, like getting the details of the eyes/legs of a fly sharp and clear. Help is greatly appericiated!

cheers

Close up filter or extension tube.

Wow that's fast!

Anyway..
How much do those filters cost? and what some of the examples of such filters?

I had the 70-300 mm APO sigma lens (in 1998) for my Minolta, and I bought a Sigma Achromatic close up lens (58mm thread) for this lens that allows it to take 1:1 magnification. Got it both from John 3:16. See if you can get the CU lens from the shop you bought it from....
