Recommendations for compact/prosumer

Currently have a dslr but it's kinda bulky to bring it everywhere I go so it's mainly for special occasions thus I'm thinking of getting either a compact or prosumer camera which is preferably not too expensive as I've already spent alot on my dslr.

Already have one compact which is seriously bad. Budget less than $300. Current model in mind is Fuji Z33 but don't know about the photo quality. Wanna get one that at least takes decent photo.

Any recommendations?

Suggest you look out for a 2nd hand Panasonic FZ28, FZ50 or Sony H5,H7 or H9. They should be around $250 to $400.

I would suggest that you look at review sites like DPReview. They recently did a prosumer camera roundup and comparison.

If compact with manual features, I would recommend Canon A590IS, should be within $300

Get a Fuji F100fd or 2nd hand Ricoh GX100
