Recommendation for wide angle lens for a7

Hi all, i do have a CV 12mm V1. Tested on my A7r, the IQ is CMI...

Does it works well with current A7RII? Any hope on A7s or A7II could use this CV 12mm V1 too???

Why do you say the IQ is CMI? I used the v2 on my A7 and am very happy with the output

If you shoot at f8 and above for the 15mm (v1 or v2), yes it is good even on the a7r2. The BSI sensor helps. At F4 the 16-35 will beat the 15mm handily in the corners.

The new V3 which is much bigger and more expensive should put up a good fight with the 16-35

The v1 is certainly small and light. A very good addition to my FE 1635

Its my A7r problem. The image will have color shifts on the edge.

Most likely the new BSI sensor in the A7R2 will solve the problem.
