I think the lens is the common item for both cams so a spot of DIY cleaning of lens contact points
is in order plus the contacts on camera body. Use cotton bud and alcohol/IPA available at pharmacy or watsons. If this fails then need to visit service center.
Another source of spirit/alcohol is methalated spirit (fire spirit/wine in local slang) from hardware store (not thinner!).One bottle lasts long long.
