Recommend mini tripod for travelling

If you have enough budget, get the Gitzo G1001. $215 + GST at Cathay. Small, light and surprisingly stable. Otherwise, look for the lower end SLIKs.

Check out a Cullman? The Magic ones, foldable and very compact. See if it's stable enough for you.

erm... if this table-top tripod weighs 2kg, its probably one of the heaviest around!... think it can take a load of 2kg but the weight of the tripod itself is abt 200g I think...
