Rechargeable Batteries...

Hi Guys

Just want to know a few things about rechargeable batteries before I get a set for my flash unit:
- if rechargeable NiMH batteries from one manufacturer (e.g. Sanyo) can be charged using another manufacturer's (e.g. Varta) charger?
- any comments/feedback about the Sanyo 2500mAH ones vs. the new Varta 15min charging ones?

Varta 15min batt with the charger is surperb.
To charge a set of Sanyo 2500mAH u will need at least 1hr.
In that time u can charge 4 sets of Varta :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

True... but I would have to buy 4 sets of Varta too . I guess the Varta offers a pretty good set of features, but I am a bit greedy -- looking at the higher 2500mAH rating of the Sanyo. Hence, my first question of charging batteries using different chargers.
