hi guys. ive had some recordings done on my pc with no problems. now after installing XP pro i need to hook up my micer to the line in input of my soundcard(audigy digital entertainment) ive done all the troubleshooting of plugging into all the inputs on my soundcard but it seems only the mic in has the loudest signal. ive mixed and match on the recording control, tried selecting "analog mix" no sound, etc etc... only "mic in" has some effect on my mixer's levels.
anyone has any idea wat the order of inputs are for my particular soundcard??
e.g left to right, mic in, line in, outs etc ets
have read somewhere dat it might be my XP dats giving me probs??
ive had the same config on my pc last tiem and all of it worked. only thing dats changed is my OS
