2. If you have a lens with markings, set the focus point at the infinity sign.

2. focus IN infinity or focus AT infinity?. usually facossung at infinity means to focus at far object. 10m, 20m, 30m, whatever far enought distance all will register as infinity on the lens marking

1. I don't, coz my camera comes with a plastic protector over the LCD.

2. Just set the lens to the infinity mark.

1. I do. It's way more expensive to change the LCD screen then the protector.
