Question On Placement Of Filter Len On A95.

A95 with a 37mm adapter tube and a 37mm 2X TC.
The front thread of the TC is 46mm.
Get the 37mm filter len like Polarizer, place it
between the tube and the TC or get 46mm Polarizer
and place in front of the TC?

Whick work better or same?

Thinking of getting 37mm one as it can be used
straight w/o the TC, for 46mm need to get step up
ring 37mm - 46mm.
