Hi guys,

After bracketing sometimes either the +2EV or -2EV pic or both have clipping hlighlights or shadow.

Do you adjust the pics first before loading to a HDR program or just leave them alone?

Thats the whole point of hdr. It will replace those sections with the correctly exposed sections from other shots.

Like Rashkae said, that's the point. If your DON'T go beyond your camera's dynamic range with a single photo, you don't need HDR, do you?

There is no harm experimenting. Just do both and compare which produced better result and do it for shots of different situations other than a photo with clipped highlights or shadows with no details. You will get an answer most suited to your style and workflow.

I tried the 'leave them alone' and just HDR.. There is a youtube on this.. Not bad..
There is also another section on this at 'digital photography school' website .. Not bad also...
