Question on B+W Slim filter??

Thought of gettin it for my 17-40,is it better than d normal type?? Anyone own it n care to share..

What is your normal type. B+W filters or other brands. If you are refering to the B+W non-slim version, then I'll say they are the same quality. If you are refering to other brands like Hoya, then I'll say B+W is one of the better brands.

its good if you are looking to use it with wide angle lenses that might be prone to vignetting... as it is thinner, it shades less light...at 17mm shouldn't make much diff even with aperture wide open...
