Qn about Sony F717

i would want to take photos that can capture fast moving objects e.g. my dog and sports but i do not like to use flash. therefore i think i have to use higher ISO.

want to buy a camera that can adjust to higher ISO but no $ to buy DSLR..budget less than $1k

is Sony F717 at ISO 800 very noisy ?

I would say ISO 800 is noisy not only on 717 but any digital camera. The good new is, unless you are shooting in really bad lighting, you rarely use ISO800. And if it gets any worse, i'll just switch to IR.
