TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE

Explore the art of travel photography. Learn how to take great and stunning images in your oversea trips. With the aid of more than 300 slides, the instructor shall guide you to take better travel photographs through various creative approach.

You will learn how to travel smart, carry the right equipment and accessories. At the end of the course, you will be taught how to make your own slideshow presentation and portfolio. This is a course not to be missed for the travel bugs and serious Photographers.

Course Syllabus

Module 1:

Why you learn photography?
Planning a trip?
Why you need to attend the basic photography course first?
VISA and airport clearance matters,
What equipments and flim should you need to bring?

Module 2:

What subjects to look for during the trip?
Using 300 over slides to explain the variety of subjects.

Module 3:

Your own approach to the subjects,
Lighting condition,

Module 4:

Photo Outing

Module 5:

View student's outdoor photos for comment and advice,
Video demonstrates oversea trip to show what and how to approach the subjects,

Module 6:

How to present a travle slide show and display in your photo album / CD.
Making your portfolio

Note: Cost incurred during the outings shall be borne by the participants. Participants may use either film or digital camera for the course work. The pre-requisite of this advance course is knowledge of basic photography.

Assessment

Upon completion of the course, the students are required to submit a set of 36 small prints for assessment. The instructor shall brief the participants on the submission requirements. A course certificate will be awarded for successful submission.

Duration : 6 weeks (2 hours per session)
Time : 7.30pm to 9.30pm weekdays (except outings)
Fees : $140 (member) $240 (non-member)
