I think it is only wiser to try 5-flash set up... look at the 15th Oct outing thread... I have added new content. Realised that my copy of CS4 extended will not arrive so soon... sianz... ;(

Thanks for the test drive tonight. I think most of you who joined in the test run have a better idea on the logistics that we need and the difference it makes in "firepower"...

So share your thoughts on why you think we did not achieve the results we wanted other than the lack of FL50Rs and the Metz unreliable wireless functionality... I shall leave this thread be an open "problem based learning" thread, and as we plan further and ahead, let's see some of the ideas that can be born through the discussions...

Maybe we can also use a couple more of those "thor flashes" for the next time. The one from last night was a super-duper big flash :bigeyes: output.

Imagine triggering 10 of those simultaneously :think: :bsmilie:

This is my most successful mini-bang shot. I think at least it triggered most of the flashes except for the one behind the right pillar. For some reason, I was only able to trigger the pavement flashes when right in front of the building. I had to move a little to the right to get the flashes behind the left pillar to work. No matter what I did, the flash behind the right pillar could not work even with a good line of sight. Hope this helps in some way.

Just a little reminder for those who are still interested in the flashbang project, that we will be discussing and planning for the next event on the 11th November 2008 *(usual TCC Funan gathering).

We shall be looking at "flashbanging" another location that has less traffic hazard and less prone to scaring drivers and the potential to cause accidents.
