Problem with Tamron 17-50 f/2.8

Found a problem with a few sets at the shop
please try

take a photo at 17mm - check exif = 17mm
take a photo at 20mm - check exif = 20mm
take a photo at 35mm - check exif = 35mm
take a photo at 50mm - check exif = 32mm

how come huh? does anybody else have this problem?

No prob with my D70...

just find it weird cos i used the shops's D80 and D200 to test... both showed 32mm

a bit surprised... so didnt buy the lense yet
