Hi Guys,

My LX5 left with 1 bar of battery. After i snap a shot of the photo, it power off and the len barrel is remain there. I try to turn on and off, it did not work. I have to take out the battery and insert again, before it can power on again.

Any guys out there face the problem.. Is it normal or should i send for repair?

Thanks

It is normal for the camera to turn off when the battery runs really low. What's wrong with that?

yup usually when the camera runs outta juice the camera will automatically switch off. btw... i think it's not just low battery... it's almost ZERO. possibly that's why there wasn't enough power to retract the lens back into the body.

This is my first time using Panasonic camera, there is no warning signal like blinking to show that it is low batt.

I find it weird because after i remove and plug in the batt again, i am still able to shoot another 3-4 shots before it power off again.

Actually there is, the battery will blink, turn red without any bar
