normal shop ? You should send your prints to a photolab.
I used to send my prints to Kim Tian at the Hong Lim Complex. I like their service and reasonable rate. Usually I will check the photos exposure on their PC. Once exposure is OK, I will ask them to print without any adjustment.
Most of the photo shop that you find in your neighbourhood are not consistent. Even if you tell them not to do any adjustment to your photos, it will turn out different. After complaining to them, the photo shop assistant will just say everything is auto, they can't change anything. I never have any good results from any of these neighbourhood shops.
Go for those reputable photo lab if your photos are important.
My favourite lab now is Beautiful Memories at Stamford House. They are expensive, but at least I know my photos will turn out right. Other good photo labs are Colour Lab at Adelphi and Grace Digital Lab at Sunset Way.
