I use a Canon S40 digital camera, and the resolution is 2272 by 1704 pixels. (Hence the ratio is 2272/1704 = 1.3333)
When I print 4R size (6" by 4" : ratio 6/4 = 1.5) at Kim Tian color centre, there is always a cropping on the image. The girl at KT told me they use 300 dpi on their printers.
Since the ratio for the photo is not same as the 4R format.. I always get the photos cropped, with or without (uniform) border.
If I insisted on getting a uncropped photo, I would get uneven border. the border width at the horizontal is not same as the vertical.
Any idea how do resolve this issue?
