Has anyone been to Comex already? Are there any printer trade-in deals?

Thank you :)

I just went today. Canon is offering discounts for some trade in discounts for inkjet printers and AIOs. From the brochure, after trade-in, the prices are

Canon i475D $149, UP $302
Canon i560 $189, UP $251
Canon i865 $249, UP $332
Canon i905D $369, UP $499
Canon i990 $469, UP $599
Canon MPC 190S $209, UP $249
Canon MPC 370 $349 UP $403

The prices are quite low, probably even lower than Sim Lim. I heard unconfirmed stories that near the end of previous shows, the printers are sold at the reduced price even without trade in.

Actually if u do a little recce, it won't be difficult to find competitive prices for the abovementioned printers off show. The retail prices are normally marked down 10-20% the suggested pricing. So I see no real benefits here.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, earlier this year picked up S820 for $250 at Sim Lim. Note that Canon gives full ink cartridges with the printers (the competing brand may give half-full cartridge with the printer) which purchased separately cost $100 (6 colours)!

Some of the prices might be lower than retail price outside. The i475D is 50% of list price while the i905D and i990 and more than a hundred dollars less.

Hi,

From the above list, which is the best for printing photos.. A4 portfolio type.

Or is it better to get the Epson 2100?
