I found that the prices at Akihabara is not really cheap, and the local Japanese agrees too. The shops in Shinjuku near the train station have better prices.

any map ? thinking of asking my parent to get the c700 there .. the price different is too great not to consider to get one there

but have to warn u cos the shops at shinjuku do not seem to have cameras in english.......cos i bought my c700 there...
so far i oni saw one of the canon camera can switch to english menu.......
the last time i asked, the guys at the shop say oni that
arkihabara(sp?) have camera with english menu.......and more ex...

Ya you are right. The charger/power supply too. Only shops in Akihabara carry those "international export sets" that have the correct voltage for Singapore.

How about the prices of accessories? What are the Smartmedia, CF, MS prices? Lens convertors? These type of things dun have to worry about language or even warranties (far less likely to need to activate)
