Preserving Home Printouts?

Anyone care to share techniques for preserving the condition of your 'homemade' prints, i.e. print from your own printer...

I know one of the colour pigments (is it cyan?) has a tendency to fade over time. Any suggestions to prevent that from happening?

Keep it out of direct light. Or get an archival printer + paper like the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P.

Sunlight is one major culprit. Nothing can withstand direct sunlight for long regardless of whatever archival properties...Frame it or laminate it is the best i can think off. At least exposure to the oxidation thru air will be minimised.
