Posting photos in B/S forum

How do you attach photos of items to be sold and examples of photos in the B/S forum thread? Pardon my tech inabilities. I tried uploading via the member's galleries section and the photos still don't upload after hitting submit/process button. Using MAc = Firefox or Safari: could that be a compatibility issue? Baffled. Please help with straightforward instructions, thanks.

please note following restrictions for clubsnap gallery, could that be problem in this case?

Important Tips
1. Image files are limited to 100KB in size and no larger than 1000x1000 pixels.
2. The Gallery software will automatically generate a medium sized image if the image exceeds 650 pixels horizontally or vertically. To prevent auto-resize, make sure your images are LESS than 650 pixels on the longest side.
