In conjunction with the exhibition Sibylle Bergemann Photographs, is a series of activities taking place on weekends at 2902 Gallery. Out of 100 over works, 42 works are Polaroid taken between 1994 -2005. Described by Jim Colberg as “a coherent, lyrical whole”, the weekend series at 2902 Gallery shares with greater depth on the magic of instant photographs and how this medium is used by local photographers to create their personal works.

Analogue Talks: Positive & Negative

Known for his use of Polaroid for landscape & architectural photography, Chow Chee Yong, a fine art photographer and educator will share and demonstrate the process of using Polariod film that yield both positive print and a negative image using large format camera. He will also shares the idea and concept behind his architectural works made with Polaroid.

Analogue Talks: Emotive Expression
Simon Cheng Joo graduated from Lasalle College of the Fine Arts, and later founded Flux Fotography.His series of Polaroid works are represented by agency in New York and have been published & exhibited in local & international magazines. He works spontaneously with Polaroid through
medium format cameras and believes it more than technical precision, but capturing a certain mood, spirit within daily spaces & the mundane of everyday objects.
