Hi bros & Sis

I want to buy a P&S camera to start of with.
I mainly use for landscrape, Macro shoot

I have buget like $300 only, can please guide me which brand and model to buy.

By the way, is AA battery or rechargeable better??

I do mine a used set if availiable.

which brand and model to buy har , also AA battery or Lithium rechargeable which is better choice. I am carrying it for tour to china as well.

Anyone selling used, I don't mine to buy. I have only $300 budget no more $$$

Do your own research. Narrow down a list of cameras based on your budget, then go read reviews.

it depends on you.

btw, even if use aa battery should get rechargeable nimhs, they last longer than alkalines for most devices.

aa battery, if your rechargeable nimhs run out, you can easily buy replacements almost everywhere, as long as you're near to civilisation.

unique rechargeable lithium ions tend to last longer, but do not have the luxury i just mentioned.

most PnS suitable for landscape and macro
with your budget a new set is quite hard to get.
I only have experienced with Canon, and A590IS should suit your budget. You will have control of manual functions, where you can learn from there.
