hi everyone. i have been asked to take some portraits for an organisation chart. the photos will have to be printed 5cm by 7.5cm. i am using a DSLR.
1) do i need to crop the photos to 2:3 (length:height), or isit already done by the camera ?

2) do i have to resize to the size i want on PS to print or can the photolab do it ?

3) how much will each print cost ?

thanks very much.
cheers !

1) Unless you're using Olympus DSLRs, the other DSLRs are already producing pics in 2:3 ratio.

2) Don't need.

3) ~30-50 cents.

hi. have encountered a problem now. my photos are in the 2:3 format, but now i am told that the photo for the organisation chart must be abt 5 x 6.5 cm in size. if im not wrong this is in the 1 : 1.3 ratio. Could someone advice me on how i can resize to the size i need on photoshop ? Thanks very much.

Click on the crop tool and type in the dimensions that you need (5cm x 6.5cm)
and the resolution (300dpi)

Or you can open a new doucment, type in the dimensions, and drag the original pic into it... Btw hows your grade for the vertical grip?
