in the process of blooming
the little innocent and shy girl

cat

一脸严肃 双眼如刀

闲暇自若 慵懒无扰

游荡成辟 捕鼠为豪

叫春扰梦 受宠如宝

九命加身 羡者非少

straight face, eyes sharp as knife, surely
laze around leisurely, be happy, no worry
catching rats its pride, wandering about is a hobby,
disturbing calls in heat, yet a lovable pet for many
with nine lives to live, who would not envy

张口露齿闭眼睛

提胸注神深呼吸

气冲肺囊缓瞬间

吐气弛眉胜登天

mouth wide open, teeth revealed, eyes shut tight
chest expanded, focusing on taking a deep breath with all might
lungs filled with fresh air, hold it there for a moment to get it right
exhale slowly, relaxing the eye brows, better than being in cloud-nine

天晴水适温

结伙弄潮忙

硝烟虽不远

自强惟坚防

blue sky, nice water
going to the beach for the better
though wars are not far away, no matter
strengthening oneself is the best self defence ever

烈日供凉快
喧哗余静泽

rows of canopy cover the long pathway
people and bicycles shoulder to shoulder stay
providing cooling shelters under the hot sun the whole day
and puddles of tranquility amidst cacophony of the city fray

小河穿幽木
绿水泛轻舟
时过景物迁
念转无须划

through the centre of the park does the cutting
on it floats a small canoe, as it's flowing
time changes the scenes and happenings
but the train of thoughts needs no paddling

夏日郊游心神爽

遥记故乡院里蔷

dry grass, green trees, cooling breeze
cycling along the track, fragrant airs on the face kiss
summer outing brings the body and mind at pease
thinking of the roses in the backyard at home, a miss

water splahing as the oar moves vigorously
eyes gaze ahead with one thought, so intensely
solo man in a sole canoe makes a solo entity
having fun paddling on the river, cares nobody

emerging golden light wakes up everything
