Picture from EOS M

just got from TK Photo. Kit II - ie. with 22mm F2 and adaptor. only SGD 560. comes with other free stuff like bags and casing but pretty useless to me.

decided to get it instead of the ep5 cause i jus want another less bulky camera and to play around. furthermore, can use back my current canon lenses. but it is really a mismatch if i put on the 24-105mm. LOL.

any nice accessories for the cameras to recommend?

Dun worry about the mismatch.. I had used a 70-200 f/4 IS on my EOS M recently when attended a graduation ceremony. Want to bring something light yet want a longer zoom so that able to catch some shot on the stage area from my seat. With the dim lighting, think ppl from far may tot why I used a white long cup and point at the stage. :embrass:

EOS-M with canon 50mm f1.8 lens :):)

AF is not as fast as I would like. But still ok for me since it is not my primary cam.

I could not find a EOS M with 22mm available.... I think they could be clearing the stock already for the next model...now... I have decided to hang on....

Looking at the Sony A7/R..... I think Sony have upped the game....

Canon better react faster, or get lost behind... again.... loses more market share...

Before A7....I thought the Fuji's were doing well with the X range.... very nice implementation and nice Fuji's lens.... can see they target the serious hobbyists and pro.....

Then, Sony A7 arrived, not only come with FF, compact, and Carl Zeiss lens, making the range attractive to professionals who need a compact set up... the sensor have better dynamic range too...... color from the Zeiss is WOW WOW WOW....

Sony FF can take APS lens too, and the implementation is quite cool too...

If Canon want to react fast, they better implement their own EVIL fast.... and best it is of better quality. EOS M was very disappointing... and does not seems to know who to target....

it is targeted to people who knows more about the brand instead of the technical details and comparison of other brands' offering.

Maybe not at serious users. Casual users who just want take photos with good quality pictures at a compact size.
