For the flowers shot, did u adjust the gaussian blur and masking the subject to create the out-of-focus of background so that the subject will 'pop' out?

what I see is a D3, maybe get a D3 will solve the problem.

I am not having a problem.
Its just that I wonder how come some picture is much more 3D than others.
I dont know how to express out but when i see it, i know it.
Seriously according to what i read in the CZ thread, getting a D3 does help better.
they find that using CZ lens with D300 above is better than the more entry level.
How true is it, i not sure...only can try out.
