photos with signature

how to add my signature or name to the photos i shoot ???

Don't want to sound to sarcastic, but a good permanent marker should do. Unless you are mounting the photos on white matt board a good 2B pencil should do. And always sign the image on the bottom right hand corner, the location if you want to and date(month and year should do) on the bottom left had corner.

you can download GIMP for free, search www.download.com google for GIMP (graphics image manip program, i think). Works just as well as photoshop, and it's FREEEEEE!

which version of acdsee are you using? Acdsee 8 and Pro offers watermark and adding text to the photos.
