For those who are waiting for the K-1 FF, this is one of the application that I miss the cropped sensor the most: macro. You will lose the magnification with the same macro lens comparing to using it on the current APS-C sensor.

This is the original 1:1 magnification I got with the FA 100/2.8 macro lens at it highest magnification:

FA100/2.8 at 1:1 magnification on full frame sensor

FA100/2.8 cropped off 50% of the above original full frame 1:1 magnification to match the existing APS-C size - this cropped equivalent to 1.5:1 magnification

The 200mm macro is also 1:1 magnification lens on FF so you have the same magnification as the 100mm. The 200 give you more working distance from the object (the distance from the front lens element to the subject will be further) so you don't need to worry that they will run away before you shoot.

However, the 200 will be more challenging in term of movement control. The hand movement can be compensate by the camera SR system but the object movement (by itself or by the wind, etc ...) will be much more difficult to control.

As for children ah, I will try hard to piah for one! My husband and I have been living apart (one in Singapore, one in USA) hehe, so kinda difficult to make even half!

I miss you guys here though. It seems every time I am away from Singapore, I will have more time to pick up my camera. :)
